| | (Alain Delon in Le Samurai)
I set up a dinner with Lobster the past Friday. Lobster canceled it last minute. I was upset and told it I was upset over the phone.
Lobster, out of its "kindness," got me a present to sooth my mood. It turns out to be a picture frame with lots of hearts and a picture of a cute kitty. Being a guy trying to look like Alain Delon in Le Samurai, all cool and minimalist, a picture frame with lots of hearts is not something a monotone assassin could put up with. The worst part is, it cannot be rejected. If I reject this present, then I am being unforgiving, and therefore lose the upper-hand I had earlier in this game. This is a retaliation in disguise of cuteness and kindness, a passive-aggressive strategy. It's like being smacked over the head with a huge marshmallow, and there is nothing I can do about it.
I am cornered. The only thing I can do is somberly accept the hearty picture frame. With its superior tactical strength, once again, Lobster out-maneuvered.
